Where can I find out more?

This guide gives current responses to some of the commonly asked questions but is by no means a source of comprehensive advice. There is a lot of further guidance out there for those that want to find out more about options that are available. The sources shown below are a good place to start:

1.	The Rural Housing Alliance – This is a national group of the main housing associations working with rural communities across England to enable, fund and build affordable housing developments. Each one has committed to a Rural Pledge. They have also produced an Affordable Rural Housing Guide containing more detailed information.
2.	The Campaign to Protect Rural England (the Countryside Charity) – The CPRE is a national charity that has a network of local branches who engage with countryside matters, including promoting well-designed affordable rural homes that support local communities. The charity has produced its own Rural Affordable Housing Guide.
3.	Strutt and Parker – The national land agency commissioned a rural housing specialist to draft a Hands on Guide for Landowners. The Guide is focussed on the Rural Exceptions Site approach.
