The launch of our new five-year Business Strategy marks an important milestone, setting out our priorities for the years ahead. At its heart is our ongoing commitment to residents, with a strengthened framework that ensures their voices shape the homes we build and the services we provide. This year, we successfully completed significant investments in existing properties and services, alongside the delivery of new, environmentally sustainable affordable homes for rural communities.
Sound governance remains central to our effectiveness, underpinning our long-term stability and reputation. I am pleased to report we maintained our highest governance rating from the Regulator of Social Housing, reflecting our continued emphasis on strong accountability and transparency. Additionally, we have taken important steps forward in our sustainability journey, guided by our new Sustainability Strategy, further embedding environmental responsibility across our organisation.
Looking ahead, I remain confident in our ability to meet future challenges and seize opportunities, ensuring that English Rural continues to deliver lasting, positive impact for rural communities across England.
