Dear Residents,
I’m delighted to introduce this year’s Residents’ Annual Report – a look back at what we’ve achieved together and how your feedback has helped shape our services.
Over the past year, we’ve continued to listen, learn and act on what matters most to you. Repairs remain a key focus, and we’ve tightened contractor reviews and improved communication, so you get clearer updates and quicker responses. We’re also making steady progress on safety and sustainability – investing in our homes, launching a major retrofit programme, and maintaining a strong record on gas and building compliance.
This year has also seen one of our busiest periods of growth in more than a decade, with new affordable homes completed across rural communities and more underway. Alongside that, we’ve expanded opportunities for residents to get involved – through workshops, focus groups and direct engagement with Board Members – ensuring your voice continues to guide our decisions.
Behind every improvement is a committed team of colleagues who share a simple goal: to provide safe, affordable and well-managed homes that residents can be proud of. We’re also planning ahead – to keep investing wisely, building sustainability into everything we do, and making sure English Rural remains strong and ready for the future.
